Katie

Teaches Snaps, Rockets, and USAG Level 3

Meet Katie

Since the ripe old age of 2, I've been bouncing around in a gym. By the time I was 5, I began the team track program at Hill's Gymnastics Center here in Maryland. I then continued my gymnastics career at Fit N' Fun gymnastics and competed until I was 16 at level 9. One too many broken bones later, I had to hang up my leotards and find a new passion that would fill my days. That's when I began coaching!

Gymnastics is my passion – the one pivotal piece that runs through my veins and burns within my heart! It has pushed me past my own limitations, knocked me down, and built me into the person I am today. Knowing what this sport has taught me, I couldn't imagine a better way to spend my time than to gift these gymnasts with the strength and support to keep moving forward no matter what lies within their path.

Why Dynamite?

Dynamite explodes in positivity and thrives on making the gym a fun learning environment. I love that I can be as creative as possible and watch the gymnasts gain skills through the process with a smile on their face. No matter what class I'm teaching or level I'm coaching, my goal is to make sure each gymnast feels special and has a blast while they are in the gym.
