Dynamite

Creating an environment where every child is successful.

Class Enrollment

Class placement is guaranteed with an online submission. Registrations are accepted on a rolling basis. Classes are billed monthly, enabling families to choose the start and end date of their children's instruction. Registrations submitted any time after the first of the month will be prorated for that month only. Initial registration must also include one full month's payment.

Children must be the requisite age before they can be registered for a class. If a child is not yet the requisite age, we recommend registering for the class in the age group corresponding to the gymnast's current age, and then switching to the class in the higher age group after the child's birthday.

Registration & Payment

Registrations are accepted on a rolling basis. Classes are now billed monthly, enabling families to choose the start and end dates of their children's instruction. Registrations made at any time after the first of the month will be pro-rated for that month only. Initial registration must also include one full month's payment. Please see our Billing Policies for details.

Parents with multiple children registered who wish to end one child's registration but continue another child's must enter a termination date in their My Account page. Once the termination date is reached, parents can re-register the single child in the class.

Dynamite accepts cash, checks (made payable to "Dynamite Gymnastics Center") and all major credit cards. There is a $25 administrative fee for changing classes. There are no refunds given at any time.

Attendance and Make-ups

Dynamite is not responsible for the participant's attendance and does not offer refunds or issue credits for missed classes. With a monthly subscription to the gym, participants can make up classes at any time as long as the account is current. Make-ups must be scheduled in advance, based on class availability, and may only be used by the gymnast enrolled in the class.

To schedule a make-up class, please call the gym at 301.770.2700. Our staff will check the class roster to see if there is a spot available on the day and at the time you prefer. Please note that gymnasts may take a make-up in any class that is age-appropriate, provided space is available.

Combining Classes

At any time during a session, Dynamite reserves the right to combine classes as needed. These classes are usually a single class that thanks to higher enrollment, Dynamite breaks out by age whenever possible. While no change is undertaken without first considering the best interests of each student, classes with only one or two students registered may be combined with another, simultaneously occurring, class learning the same curriculum.

Class Times

Classes will start and end promptly in accordance with scheduled times. Please do not leave children more than ten minutes before the start of a class and be sure to pick children up promptly.

Trial Classes and Drop-Ins

Trial classes and space for drop-ins are available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. To schedule a trial or drop-in, call the gym at 301.770.2700 to check availability in the class of your choice.

All those scheduled for trials/drop-ins must check in by phone one hour prior to class time. Check-ins are necessary to ensure the class still has openings, even if you schedule it in advance! We are unable to set aside class space for trials/drop-ins because currently enrolled students have priority to class spaces for make-up.

  • Cost of trials/drop-ins per gymnast:
    • 45-minute classes: $25
    •  60-minute classes: $30

    • 90-minute classes: $35

    • Adult classes: $35

    • GymFit: $25

    • Silks classes: $40

Note: If you prefer to register for the class instead of scheduling a trial, your class fee will be automatically pro-rated at checkout.

Tumbling & Trampoline classes and any class using the in-ground trampolines require socks. Any additional clothing requirements for a specific class is included in the class description.

Behavior

To ensure the safety of all children and provide an enjoyable experience for all participants, Dynamite reserves the right to recommend that a child be transferred to a different class, or in extreme cases, remove a child from the class and refund any fees paid for the remainder of the month or period that has been paid. Such behavior may include, but is not limited to: pushing, hitting, biting, running away from the group or instructor, and/or other impulsive/aggressive behavior that may endanger the safety of themselves or others.

Sibling Drop-Ins

In the event you need to bring along a non-registered sibling of a class participant, Dynamite will permit one-time sibling participation in a concurrent age-appropriate class, subject to availability. To participate, a registration form must be completed and the fees paid accordingly.

  • Cost of drop-ins per gymnast:
    • 45-minute classes: $25
    • 60-minute classes: $30

Visitors

With the exception of Family and Parent & Child classes, adults and other visitors are not permitted in the gym. Parents/guardians/visitors must remain in designated areas. In order to ensure the safety of all children, Dynamite requests that visitors watch quietly and refrain from waving, gesturing, or otherwise communicating with children during classes.
