Dynamite

Creating an environment where every child is successful.

Dynamite is a dream come true for members of the Carhart-Walker family. The matriarch of the family–Gail Carhart Walker–supported her children: Wendy, Michelle, Corey, and Alyx, and granddaughter, Kylin, during their competitive gymnastics years and now joins her children at Dynamite, their true home away from home. Beyond competing, Michelle was the first to begin teaching gymnastics, which she started at the age of 14 under her coach Kelli Hill. When she moved to a new gym in the early 1990s, Michelle convinced her mother to join her as office manager and picked her brother Corey to help her coach the upper-level Women’s Artistic team. Soon after, her sister Wendy began coaching several levels of the women’s artistic team, her other sister Alyx joined her mother to coach the Tumbling & Trampoline Team (TNT), and her daughter Kylin began teaching classes. Whew! Understanding just how important the coach/gymnast relationship is, Michelle’s dedication to the gym can be seen in each new addition to the Dynamite family. Dynamite’s coaches and instructors are all _______--certified. Each member of the staff is dedicated to helping every student succeed in his or her own way.
