Parties: FAQ

Have your cake, and eat it too!.

Every child in the gym—unless s/he remains in a baby carrier or stroller—will be counted as an additional party guest and must be paid for accordingly. Please be aware that our staff is responsible for the safety of all children in the gym. If additional children are playing anywhere in the gym, we will add staff as needed to maintain a manageable ratio of staff to children.

Absolutely! While your party is going on in the gym, you can decorate the party room as you see fit. While we recommend limiting decorations to signage and balloons (so that you can enjoy the gym time with your guests), we'll assist you as much as possible in both planning and setting up the perfect party. Please note that since all parties overlap by about 15 minutes, we cannot allow you access to the party room prior to your party start time.

Yes. However, the pinata must open with pull strings; pinata breaking with a stick is prohibited. Also, the pinata event must take place during the last ten minutes of the in-gym portion of the party.

No, you are expected to order and bring your own cake. However, our staff coordinates the candle lighting, singing, serving, and cleanup. Just bring the cake—we do the rest.

Dynamite provides all paper goods for the children, but not for adults. If you plan to serve food to your adult guests, make sure to bring all necessary paper goods, including serving utensils (if needed). Note: Dynamite does have utensils for cutting and serving the birthday cake.

Yes, parents must be responsible for their children's behavior, safety and adherence to gym rules.

While rare, we do have the occasional time slot open up due to a cancellation. Call us to find out about availability and be placed on a wait list for your preferred date and time.

We recommend reserving a different day and/or time, while keeping your name on our waitlist for the date and time you do want. Cancellations do occur, and you have until 30 days before the party to alter your reservation without losing your deposit or incurring a $25 administrative switch fee (as long as your waitlisted party date is earlier than your reserved party date).
