Camp: Day in the Life

Just because school's out, it doesn't mean you have to slow down!

What does a Dynamite Day look like?

During morning sessions, campers will learn gymnastics and participate in other age-appropriate activities. The pre-school campers rotate between gymnastics and arts & crafts, followed by snack and story time; school-aged campers spend the entire morning in the gym rotating between the apparatus.

The lunch break includes lunch (brought from home or purchased from Dynamite; see Regulations/Notifications, below, for details), board games, and independent time (i.e., reading and relaxing). During the afternoon, campers can choose from a variety of activities including workshops for specific skills, trampoline, arts & crafts, dance, and games. Workshops to learn specific gymnastics skills will also be included as afternoon rotations.

In the summer, every week, all full-day campers will spend time every afternoon preparing for the end-of-the-week performance, which is held on Fridays at 3:45 pm. Parents are encouraged to come and watch the show! Most parents choose to take their children home with them when the show ends at 4:05 p.m.

When offered, extended care (early drop-off and late pick-up) provides gymnasts with activities including free play in the gym, reading, games, and snack time.

Our enthusiastic, energetic, and compassionate instructors will ensure that every child, of any temperament and ability, will have a truly exceptional time at Dynamite!
